The default value is automatically pre-selected when customers open the visualizer. They can still change it to any other enabled option.
Multi-Panel (Triptych) Settings
Super Feature! The Multi-Panel feature lets customers split a single image across 2-5 canvases, creating stunning gallery wall displays like diptychs, triptychs, and more.
The Multi-Panel settings card appears at the bottom of each product type's configuration:

Enabling Multi-Panel

Gap sizes are measured in inches. Common values are 0.5", 1", 1.5", and 2" for typical gallery wall installations.
Multi-Panel Preview
Here's how multi-panel appears to customers in the 3D visualizer:

Customers see:
- A toggle to enable/disable multi-panel
- Panel count selector (from your enabled options)
- Direction selector (horizontal/vertical)
- Gap size slider (from your defined range)
Visibility Note
Customers can only choose from the options you enable. The default values you set are pre-selected when they first toggle multi-panel in the 3D editor.
Best Practices
Multi-Panel Tips
✓ Do:
- Start with 3 panels (Triptych) as the default—it's the most popular
- Offer at least 2-3 gap size options for flexibility
- Enable both Horizontal and Vertical for maximum customer choice
- Test the feature yourself before enabling it for customers
✗ Don't:
- Enable all options if your production can't support them
- Set very small gaps (< 0.5") as defaults—they may look cramped
- Enable multi-panel for products that don't suit it (like mugs)
Product Options Tips
✓ Do:
- Only enable options you can actually produce
- Set sensible defaults that represent your most popular choices
- Keep the option list manageable (4-6 options is ideal)
✗ Don't:
- Enable every possible option (overwhelming for customers)
- Leave defaults unset (customers may get confused)
- Frequently change available options (affects consistency)
