Best Practices

Multi-Panel Tips

Do:

  • Start with 3 panels (Triptych) as the default—it's the most popular
  • Offer at least 2-3 gap size options for flexibility
  • Enable both Horizontal and Vertical for maximum customer choice
  • Test the feature yourself before enabling it for customers

Don't:

  • Enable all options if your production can't support them
  • Set very small gaps (< 0.5") as defaults—they may look cramped
  • Enable multi-panel for products that don't suit it (like mugs)

Product Options Tips

Do:

  • Only enable options you can actually produce
  • Set sensible defaults that represent your most popular choices
  • Keep the option list manageable (4-6 options is ideal)

Don't:

  • Enable every possible option (overwhelming for customers)
  • Leave defaults unset (customers may get confused)
  • Frequently change available options (affects consistency)
